Welcome Aboard

The Cherry Blossom Riverboat is a traditional paddlewheel style vessel with antique charm and sophistication. It's an authentic re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat, and one of only six split sternwheelers in the country.

Our cruise is a 3-hour private charter. Most day cruises are only 1 or 2 hours long. We added an extra hour to give you a full 3 HOURS of fun.

We’re also not limited to a single deck or a shared space. We have the entire riverboat for our EXCLUSIVE use.

Geek out to your heart’s content knowing you’re in a friendly space with others who share your passions.

Check-in opens at 11:00 AM. Meet at the Alexandria City Marina Dock next to Chart House restaurant (big blue building).

You will be checked in at the dock before boarding. Your eTicket and a government-issued photo ID are required to board, no exceptions. MUST BE AGE 21+ TO ATTEND.

Boarding happens quickly and starts promptly at 11:45 AM. We cannot wait for late arrivals. We highly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before boarding to allow enough time for parking, getting to the boat, and check-in at the dock.

The Cherry Blossom will depart and return to the dock in Old Town Alexandria. The cruise is scheduled to sail from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, exact times may be subject to change.

Maid Cafe

Maid Cafes are already a fun kawaii experience. Hosting ours on a boat is next level.

Pixel Pop Maid Café will be on board to delight you with live performances, fun games, and so much more. No reservations needed.

Cosplay

Get your cameras ready — the Cherry Blossom Riverboat and picturesque Old Town Alexandria are fantastic backdrops for your cosplay photos.

Have fun showcasing cosplay from anime, manga, video games, comics and other areas of fandom.

Lolita, kimonos & traditional Japanese attire, Japanese street fashion, and original designs are also highly encouraged.
